Our client, a highly regarded firm, is seeking to add a senior associate to their busy Lending Practice Group. Their team requires experience in drafting, negotiating, and closing domestic and international financing transactions (both syndicated and bilateral, secured, and unsecured). Their ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of experience working in asset-based lending or other commercial lending practice of a Big Law or peer size firm.
Experience with end to end banking transactions, lending, letter of credit and other transactions for banks, experience in trade finance or fund finance (e.g., lending against capital commitments or subscriptions for capital) is preferred for this role.
Bachelor’s degree and JD required. Must be admitted and in good standing in NY. Experience in a peer size or larger law firm is required. Compensation (195K-225K plus bonus and great benefits) is based upon experience and subject matter expertise. Exceptional client service skills and a steady, professional demeanor are also required.
