Our client, a top tier, midsized law firm, is seeking a Benefits Manager with a minimum of six (6) years of experience in a peer or larger law firm to join their multigenerational HR team. This constituent facing role is a key recruitment and retention piece of the firm’s overall strategy, requiring a service oriented, analytical person to provide flawless service and information to all.

Law firm experience and dealing with partnerships and post partnership benefits is key to success in this role. The ideal candidate will plan, prepare, and conduct benefits orientation with new hires and/or newly promoted partners and other legal personnel. In addition, maintain and negotiate the Firm’s annual renewals (e.g., medical, dental, life, long term disability, short term disability long term care, Flexible Spending, and Transit), including working with broker to obtain favorable pricing and with members of the Benefits Committee as needed.

Bachelor’s degree is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other managers and employees at all levels in a collegial and professional manner is necessary for success in this role. Flexible critical thinking skills, to provide information and guidance to employees at all levels, is strongly required for consideration.
