Our client, a generationally established mid-sized firm, is seeking an originating Trusts & Estates Partner and their team, with 10 years’ experience, doing sophisticated estate planning and estate administration for high net-worth individuals. Experience advising clients with respect to estate planning, trust administration, estate administration, and tax audits is required. This is a succession partner opportunity and although potable business is required, it is not the only measure of success for this firm. Candidates will be considered based upon their potential to win over current clients of the firm as well as a soon to be retiring partner.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the formation and operation of private and public not for profit organizations. Experience with IRS and NYS estate tax return preparation and audits must. Ability to review work product of other attorneys and paralegals.
Our client is defined by its intentional management, strong financials, balanced environment, technical acumen and unlimited opportunities for advancement. A measurable & portable book of business (in the highest six figures) and a pipeline of contacts for ongoing business development are required for consideration. Small firms and practice groups may also be of interest to the firms’ entrepreneurially minded management team. Compensation is experience and client matter origination dependent. Salary (325K- 450K) plus origination based bonus, solid benefits and wellness program.
