Labor & Employment Associate – 2-5 Years Law Firm

Our client, a progressive midsized firm, is seeking to add another Associate to their multigenerational and otherwise diverse Labor and Employment practice group. The group is growing, and they are seeking an Associate with 2 to 5 years of measurable experience in management side labor and employment matters in the busy practice group of a peer or Big Law firm.

The firm and this group are seeking an individual interested in building subject matter expertise with broad based practice exposure, less siloed work and more client facing interactions. The ideal candidate will have experience with management side advice and counsel matters including compliance related issues, trainings, policies, employee contracts and restrictive covenants. Superior writing skills and presentation abilities are required.

Trial experience in employment discrimination, wage and hour matters, harassment retaliation defense and contract disputes in both federal and state courts. Superior drafting abilities, producing top tier work product for court required.

Solid academic credentials are required and limited job movement since graduation is preferred. NY Bar admission (in good standing) required. Compensation includes a salary of 180K-220K+, solid benefits and attainable, easily attainable hours based bonus.
