Highly regarded Nassau County firm is seeking an estate planning paralegal with a minimum of 3 years of measurable experience drafting and editing wills, health care proxies, powers of attorney, living wills and trusts and related transfer documents. In addition, demonstrated experience transferring estate and trust assets is required for consideration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information. Additionally, the paralegal will be relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to matters organized and accessible. Experience creating and maintaining case files. Facilitate the meeting of attorney’s deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders. Conduct legal research and report. Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate preferred.
