Our client is a leading Hudson Valley firm. They are seeking an associate for their Municipal practice with demonstrated experience in land use, zoning and general municipal law to work alongside two partners considered leaders in the marketplace. A minimum of five (5) years of experience is required.
This role includes day-to-day municipal representation, municipal governance and administration. Ideal candidate must have experience drafting local laws and resolutions as well as experience defending Article 78 proceedings and SEQRA adherence. Ability to analyze issues, conduct legal research and communicate effectively with client constituents is required.
Bachelor’s degree and JD required. Writing sample with submission preferred. Compensation includes salary (140K-160K) , generous benefits, vacation and personal time, 401K, LTD and reimbursement for CLE. The firm is committed to mentoring and training.
