Our client, an expanding midsized law firm with a highly regarded real estate litigation practice, is seeking a commercial real estate litigator with seven or more years of experience to join its growing team. This role offers sophisticated matters, direct client engagement, and a clear path to greater responsibility and leadership alongside an empowering practice leader.
The practice represents landlords, owners, developers, investors, and management companies across a broad range of commercial real estate disputes involving office, retail, hospitality, industrial, mixed-use, and multifamily assets. Representative matters include commercial landlord/tenant litigation, Yellowstone injunctions, lease defaults, holdover and ejectment proceedings, declaratory judgment actions, guaranty enforcement, injunction proceedings, and related Supreme Court litigation.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling commercial landlord/tenant matters in New York courts, along with excellent writing, advocacy, and strategic thinking skills. Experience independently managing active matters, appearing in court, taking and defending depositions, drafting substantive motions, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients is strongly preferred.
This is a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where talented litigators are given visibility, responsibility, and the opportunity to operate closer to the center of active matters.
Admission to the New York Bar is required. Compensation includes a base salary of $265,000 to $325,000, plus a generous hours-based bonus and a comprehensive top-tier benefits package. This opportunity offers sophisticated landlord-side litigation work, meaningful responsibility, and a strong long-term platform for continued professional growth.
