Our client, a highly sought after litigation group, is seeking a second to fifth year associate with substantive experience in business disputes, partnership and shareholder matters, and other commercial litigation. The group is adding an associate to their team who is already operating at a high level within a commercial litigation practice and is seeking to do more.
The ideal associate candidate must have superior writing skills, strong critical thinking abilities, and the confidence to move beyond execution into how cases are analyzed and advanced within a busy litigation group. You will work closely with partners on motion practice, depositions, and case development, with the expectation that you are comfortable taking ownership of your work and contributing thoughtfully to the direction of matters.
The group includes former Big Law and internally developed partners and operates in a measured, collaborative, and business focused environment. Admission to the New York Bar is required. Compensation ranges from $180K to $230K, plus a liberal hours based bonus and comprehensive benefits. This opportunity will enhance the strong foundation of an associate who is seeking broader exposure and more consistent involvement across a variety of commercial litigation matters.
