In this role, the Associate will work closely with partners and counsel on a range of complex corporate transactions, with real responsibility and direct exposure to clients. The work includes buy side and sell side mergers and acquisitions, structuring and executing sophisticated corporate transactions, entity formation, governance, and restructuring matters, as well as drafting and negotiating commercial and transactional agreements.
The Associate will manage deal components and contribute meaningfully to strategy and execution in a hands on, client-facing environment designed for attorneys who want to take ownership of matters, and be viewed as trusted contributors on deal teams, not simply support resources.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of corporate transactional experience, with substantive M&A work required, and will bring strong drafting, negotiating, and analytical skills to the table. This individual should be comfortable operating in a high expectation environment and motivated to grow within a firm that values both legal excellence and humanity.
